Families can enjoy fun and
educational ‘hands-on’
activities
During the school summer
holiday Amberley Museum &
Heritage Centre will be holding
a series of drop in activity
workshops for families and
accompanied children.
Two workshops will be run every
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
at 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm from
Wednesday 4th August
up to and including Friday 27th
August.
No advance booking is necessary,
families can simply drop in to
enjoy the following activities:-
- Reduce,
re-use and recycle in our
eco-craft workshops (make and
take activities)
- Go
wild on a chalk pit safari
- Become
an eco-detective to discover 10
innovations that changed the
world

Create
your own environmental sculpture
The Museum will be open every
Tuesday – Sunday, as well as
Bank Holiday Mondays throughout
the season. Situated within the
heart of the South Downs
National Park in 36 acres of
chalk quarry the Museum boasts a
range of live exhibits including
a working bus service and narrow
gauge railway.
