The Dover Cottage Pump House came from the Norfolk Estate in Arundel.

It contained a complete country cottage lighting & pumping plant.

Manufacturing on site

It comprised a 3.5hp Crossley stationary engine driving a Duke & Ockenden well pump head gear, and a dynamo connected to a slate switchboard.
The building was donated to the Museum by the Norfolk Estate of Arundel, West Sussex, in 1986, and was fully restored in 1995.
