Features that are noteworthy include early petrol pumps (set back into a fireproofed bay for protection from the elements), mechanics workshop (with a rare fabric-covered 1927 Austin Seven) and office. A section of the building is set up as a period cycle shop.

The Village Garage won a Scania Transport Trust award, in recognition of its sympathetic development and promotion of British transport heritage.
