Filming and Site Hire

Amberley Museum is a large 36 acre site with over 40 exhibits and extensive archives.  

The Museum is available to hire for filming and photography shoots.  Being available for a few hours to several days, subject to the Museum's opening hours and events.  The Museum is open form February half term, and then mid March until the end of October.

One of the most famous films that used the Museum as a location was, James Bond's 'A View to a Kill' back in 1983.  Since then, many smaller film projects have taken place, a few are still in post-production.  Being used as locations for daytime television programmes such as 'Bargin Hunt', ?????  Also, for smaller amature dramatic groups such as the Scout gang show.

The Museum is often used as backdrops for photoshoots, including: Classic car magazines, motocycle calanders,
