The Business Patron Scheme was launched in March 2007.
Although the Museum is financially secure, there is always a need for additional monies to fund day-to-day running costs, repairs and maintenance to the site. Many of the Museum's industrial heritage exhibits are precursors to much of the machinery and equipment in use in modern industry today and it seems commonsense to involve local businesses and companies in helping to preserve the Museum's important collection of artefacts and related buildings.
