    Come and discover what life was like before the internet. Learn about the history of radio and television, and explore the BT Connected Earth with the history of the telephone. Discover the BT archives displays not normally on show to the public. - Learn how to join copper cables, and blow fibres with demonstrations from BT Openreach. - Have fun sending a telegram and use the oscilloscope to watch your voice turn to sound waves.

    Classic Landrover Day

    Industrial Trains

    Art at Amberley - Scrapbooking

    This month we will be looking at Scrapbooking (at an additional cost of £5). Make a mini memory album for the future or an event that has happened. Pre-booking is advised as you are guaranteed your space on the day and you also will receive a reduced entrance price. Each person that books will only be charged £5 plus any extra cost for the art. Standard Museum entry applies on the day.

    Toddler Tuesday - All about trees
    Morning
    Toddler Tuesdays are activity mornings for under 5's. This week we are looking 'All about trees'. This session will be led by Stuart Slade from the Forest School in Arundel. There will be two sessions at 10.30 and 11.45, lasting for approximately 1 hour. Session tickets will be issued in the shop on arrival as spaces are limited. It will focus on all about the trees around us. There will be trails, activities, crafts to take home and a story to finish. Please dress suitable for outdoor activities. Due to being on the nature trail, there is no pushchair access.

    Activity Wednesday - Autumn Crafting
    10-5
    An activity day for children of all ages to come and explore around the Museum. This week we will be focusing on Autumn crafting, with activities looking at the colours of autumn. Also with an autumn trail to follow around the Museum. Every Wednesday the Woodturners will also be open with their activity workshops, and Hawking About will be doing displays with their Birds of Prey in the Barn and on the Village Green.

    Halloween
    Day 10-4 - Evening 6-9
    Our ever popular Halloween event, with activities and fun for children of all ages. The Museum is open to explore from 10am to 4pm for a day of Halloween fun, with activities running from 10:30 to 3pm. Standard admission prices apply. Explore the Museum at night from 6 - 9pm, at £7 per person. Be spooked with a ride on the ghost train, Halloween stories and explore the spooky spider trail. Mild Halloween themes suitable for all ages. Tickets for the ghost train are very limited, so book now. (not included in annual membership). With birds of prey displays from Hawking About, and enjoy our steam days with our resident steam engines riding the railway around the site.

    Open for the last day of the season. Come and find out what is planned for 2018. The Museum thanks its Members for their Support. Amberley Museum is a registered charity, relying heavily on the support of its strong team of volunteers, and returning annual members. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, or a member, come along to find out more on Sunday 29th October, as we close our 2017 season. For this last day there will be a special offer of £7.00 entry for everyone. Tickets only available for purchase in the shop on the day.
