July has a number of our well established, and very popular, Special Events.
It's fair to say that the Railway Gala Weekend and the Classic Car Summer Picnic are both legendary in their own right!

Fire Show
Saturday & Sunday 5th & 6th of July

Fire Engines old and new on show, with fire fighting and rescue displays throughout the weekend. This really is an event the whole family can enjoy.




Railway Gala Weekend
Saturday & Sunday 12th & 13th of July

An event held in considerable regard, the Gala Weekend will see a host of steam, diesel and electric locomotives on show, with a Grand Parade each day at 3pm. Combined with numerous model railways and preservation displays, there's something to entertain everyone!




Classic Motorcycle Show
Sunday 20th of July

An all new event at Amberley, with over 300 motorcycles expected from the 1950s to the 1980s




Classic Car Summer Picnic
Sunday 27th of July

With over 200 cars expected from the 50s, 60s and 70s, plus period costume, the Classic Car Summer Picnic makes good use of the Museum's 36 acres! From old family favourites to exotic and rare supercars, the event is guaranteed to cover every taste.
