October, our final month of the season, sees a number of great events. We will be hosting this year's Walking West Sussex Walks Festival. organised for West Sussex County Coucil by Festival Walks.

Our Autumn Vintage Vehicle Show is one of our grandest events, with an eclectic range of vehicles on show, whilst our Big Draw event provides the ideal opportunity for families to develop their creative talents...

Walking West Sussex Festival
Wednesday 1st - Sunday 5th October 2008

Amberley Working Museum will be hosting this year's Walking West Sussex Walks Festivel, organised for West Sussex County Council by Festival Walks. There will be guided walks over all five days of the event.




Autumn Vintage Vehicle Show
Sunday 12th October

The Autumn Vintage Vehicle Show has a magnificent reputation - and rightly so! A grand end-of-season gathering, the show provides visitors with a high quality, eclectic mix of vintage cars, motorcycles, buses, lorries, traction engines, cycles and much more!




Autumn Industrial Trains Day
Sunday 19th October

The second (and final) opportunity of the season to see a wide range of our industrial locomotives and rolling stock in action.

 



The Big Draw
Saturday 25th October

An art event at Amberley with a difference! Part of Family Learning Week, the event provides families with the opportunity to take part in artistic activities on site, making good use of the Museum's varied grounds.
