Wood from the Trees
Sunday 7th September

Woodland timber trades and crafts on show throughout the Museum's 36 acre grounds. A wonderful event that lets people appreciate the beauty & variety of wood in conjunction with time-honoured skills.

Bus Show
Sunday 14th September

Enjoy the opportunity to see, and ride on, a wide range of vintage and classic buses. Needless to say, the event is truly mesmerising and ideal for all the family.

Miniature Steam & Model Weekend
Saturday & Sunday 20th & 21st September

This event is one of those that everyone should see at least once in their lives - ideally more! The show has 70 or 80 model steam traction engines and rollers making good use of the Museum site. Most are the result of many years hard work (sometimes even decades) and are examples of modelling genius, down to the very last detail. With a Grand Parade at 3pm each day, everyone has an opportunity to learn about (and enjoy) the modelling brilliance on show.

Autumn Crafts & Skills Day
Sunday 28th September

A delightful event providing accompanied children with the opportunity to try their hand at a range of traditional crafts.
