Volunteers are the life-blood of Amberley Working Museum
From restoring exhibits and managing collections to staffing the Ticket Office and maintaining footpaths, the Volunteers at Amberley (in conjunction with the small number of employed staff on site) ensure that the Museum is able to meet its remit of preserving the industrial heritage of the south east.

As would be expected, with so many diverse areas of interest at Amberley, a number of volunteer groups exist to manage and maintain each section. These are discussed in Volunteer Groups, which can be accessed from the menu to the left.

Anyone is welcome to apply to become a Volunteer at Amberley Working Museum; a commitment to just a few hours a month can make all the difference. The Museum's Volunteer Co-Ordinator will be able to help people decide how they can contribute their best to the Museum. For further information, click on Becoming a Volunteer, accessible from the menu to the left.
