KEEPING YOU SAFE

Updated July 2022

The safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff is our number one priority. Please be aware of the following advice to ensure that everyone can enjoy their day out at Amberley.

General admission tickets can be booked online in advance for the day you wish to visit. There will also be tickets available at the door on arrival. Please note that our event days must be pre-booked (including Members).

If you feel unwell, please delay your visit. If you have pre-booked, please contact us and we will be happy to transfer your tickets to a new date.

On arrival, look out for the Amberley Welcome Team, who will be able to help you with directions and information. We are on a large open-air site so there is lots of space once you have entered the Museum. Please give others space so everyone can enjoy their visit.

There are three sets of toilets on the site with handwashing facilities – in the Limeburners Café, opposite the Print Shop and opposite Connected Earth, at the top end of the site. Each set of toilets has disabled and baby changing facilities and is regularly cleaned.

Perspex screens will remain at till points and card and contactless payments will continue to be encouraged wherever possible.

We have a team of trained first-aiders on site each day. Please ask a member of staff or volunteer if you require assistance.

There is no smoking or vaping in Museum buildings and on our buses and trains, but smoking is permitted when outside in the open air.

Please work with us to keep everyone safe and enjoy your visit.
