Amberley Christmas Adventure

5-6, 12-13 & 19-20 December plus Wednesday 9 & 16 December 2026

Enjoy an Amberley Christmas Adventure at the Museum!

Join us for the weekends of 5th/6th, 12th/13th and 19th/20th December, plus Wednesday 9th and Wednesday 16th December as we celebrate the festive season with our exclusive Christmas event.

Seasonal Train to Santa’s Parlour

Ride the Christmas train to meet Father and Mrs Christmas in their cosy parlour. Listen to an exclusive story written especially for Amberley. Receive a gift from Father Christmas and take your opportunity to have a photograph with him!

So how do we make a booking?

  • Book tickets for everyone travelling on the train. (£10 for children of any age)
  • Continue shopping – book general admission tickets for everyone. (standard general admission prices apply except for Museum members)
  • At checkout, make sure everyone has been booked for admission and for the train

Saunter through the Museum at Christmas

Follow the trail back down through the Museum site and join in with our games and activities.

Send a telegram to Father Christmas in Connected Earth, create a Christmas decoration in the Pottery (charge applies) and print a Christmas print in the Print Shop.

Discover a selection of traditionally crafted gifts handmade by our skilled volunteers in the Print Shop, Pottery and Greenwood Village and browse our Christmas Craft Market in and around Humphrey’s Barn.

The Christmas Adventure includes travel on the narrow-gauge railway and joining other families to hear a festive story in a historic building, before receiving a gift. Dogs and pushchairs will need to be left outside Santa’s Parlour. If you have a particular accessibility question, please get in touch by emailing office@amberleymuseum.co.uk
