Ingenuity at the Guinness Brewery

Discover the story of The Guinness Brewery railway and find out more about the locomotives that worked on it. The tour will include a close look at Guinness Loco No.23 and Haulage Truck No.4, both of which are now part of the collection at Amberley Museum.
- Learn about the different rail systems at the brewery
- See historic photos related to the Guinness Brewery and its locomotives
- Hear about the Guinness’ connection to West Sussex
- A chance to see objects and archival material normally in storage
Discovery Days provide an opportunity to discover another side to the museum as part of an afternoon tour and hands-on experience led by our curatorial team.
Tickets are £5 per person on top of usual admission charges and should be booked in advance. Maximum of 20 places available.

Extra Information
Amberley Museum is located in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Often referred to as multiple museums in one, the Museum has over 20 exhibition areas.
The Limeburners Cafe will be open for lunches and snacks, ice creams and hot drinks are also available. There are also outdoor picnic areas.
Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
