Easter Holiday Activities

Spring’s the season!

From Friday 29 March to Sunday 14 April, find out about birds that nest at this time of year with our Bird Egg Easter Trail.

On Wednesdays and Fridays (11am-3pm, not Good Friday), head to the Learning Space to try your hand at some seasonal weaving.

On Friday 12 April, the popular West Sussex Woodturners will also be on hand to help you carve a wooden keepsake (£1.50 per piece). (Please note this was due to take place on 5th April but has now been cancelled due to an electrical fault)

Road Steam – Friday 29th March

On Good Friday you can see the Road Steam collection out and about and in action around the Museum.

Visit Nancy Scantlebury-Thompson at the Pottery Barn.

Theme for Easter holidays is: Chickens, Ducks & Eggs in Nests.

Drop in on her ‘Model with clay’ sessions for some fun on the day and make a beautiful keepsake to take home with you. (This activity is open to adults and children at a small additional charge of £2.50pp applies to this activity).

Museum General Admission.

Train and bus rides are included for no extra cost.

Extra Information
Amberley Museum is located in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Often referred to as multiple museums in one, the Museum has over 20 exhibition areas.

The Limeburners Cafe will be open for lunches and snacks, ice creams and hot drinks are also available. There are also outdoor picnic areas.

Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.

All activities are subject to change.
