This Father’s Day, Dads get free entry to Amberley Museum.
What can visitors see and do at this event?
Have a special family day out for Father’s Day this year, Dads get free admission and there will be plenty to do for the whole family.
As well as exploring our 36-acre Museum, special activities for Father’s Day include: rides on a steam train, hopping on a vintage bus, watching agricultural and miniature engines steam around the Museum grounds, a military display and exploring nature with a family trail and children’s activities. We will also have live music by Acute Sound at lunchtime.
Please pre-book your tickets and choose a ‘complimentary’ ticket for Dad.
The steam train in action will be Polar Bear, a 1905 Bagnall Steam Locomotive.
There will be four miniature steam engines and a 1922 Burrell agricultural steam engine.
The small military display includes a Daimler Ferret Scout Car 2/4, Bedford MJ Lorry, mine field, Milan weapons system and working military radios plus aerial array.

Museum General Admission. Please book Dad a ‘complimentary’ ticket.
All train and bus rides are included for no extra cost.

Amberley Museum is a 36 acre site located in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Often referred to as multiple museums in one, the Museum has over 20 exhibition areas.
The Limeburners Cafe will be open for lunches and snacks, ice creams and hot drinks are also available. There are also outdoor picnic areas.
Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
