Enjoy a day exploring Amberley Museum, with drop-in activities and experiences specially for home-educating families.
- Watch a high-voltage electricity demonstration
- Handle objects from our collections
- Ride a vintage bus and narrow-gauge train
- Make a wooden keepsake with the West Sussex Woodturners
- Play with clay at Woodsmoke Pottery
- Enjoy a quiet visit to our Connected Earth exhibit (audiovisuals will be turned off for the morning only)
- Explore our nature trails
- Help us test SEND learning resources we are developing in partnership with the University of Chichester
There will also be a dedicated chill-out space open all day, with games, puzzles and books to read.
Entry to this event is at our learning prices of:
£7.00 per child aged 5-16
£9.50 per adult
(under-5s free)
This event is not pre-bookable – just turn up!

Extra Information
Amberley Museum is located in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Often referred to as multiple museums in one, the Museum has over 20 exhibition areas.
The Limeburners Cafe will be open for lunches and snacks, ice creams and hot drinks are also available. There are also outdoor picnic areas.
Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
