Home Front Weekend
16-17 May 2026
Experience the 1940s, as Amberley Museum is recreated as a WW2 encampment, showcasing vehicles, uniforms and equipment from the Home Front.
Visitors can also get up close with wartime fire appliances and visit a recreation fire station bay to find out about their role. The show also includes post-war equipment and vehicles, showing the changes since 1945.
Come along in your 1940s-style fashions, and take a ride on our steam locomotive ‘Peter’ and our 1930s bus.
