Mercedes-Benz, Porsche & BMW Club

17 March 2024

We’re delighted to announce for the Sussex Region’s Grand 2024 opening event The Mercedes-Benz Club will be holding their annual Three Clubs meeting at Amberley Museum.

Cars from the BMW Club GB and TIPEC (The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club) will also be on display.

The Mercedes-Benz Club

The Mercedes-Benz Club was founded in 1952 and it was the first Mercedes-Benz Club in the world.

Its founding was mainly due to the enthusiasm and efforts of one man – Ronald H Johnson (1913 – 1973). By profession Johnson was a marine architect, but he was also an avid motorist and a long-time enthusiast of Mercedes-Benz cars.

The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club (TIPEC)

TIPEC is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts – like-minded people who are passionate about the Porsche marque. The club is independent of the Porsche factory and dealer network. They cater for the entire range of models and also welcome owners of replicas. The Club is dedicated to keeping the cost of owning and running a Porsche down to a minimum.

The BMW Car Club of Great Britain

Founded in 1952, the BMW Car Club of Great Britain is proud to be an official Club created for BMW enthusiasts, by enthusiasts. From the modern to the Classics, the Club is catered for each and every individual. From all corners of the UK to all social media platforms, the Club offers a chance to share your passion and to build a whole new social experience. They offer technical knowledge and support, where you can gain access to a wealth of authoritative advice and details through Register Meets, and Register Captains are just an email away.
