This unique celebration is dedicated to the history and joy of cycling, offering a fantastic day out for cycling enthusiasts, families, and anyone with a passion for vintage and retro bicycles.

Event Highlights:

Vintage & Retro Bicycle Displays: Explore an impressive array of classic and retro bicycles, each beautifully maintained and showcasing the evolution of cycling design and technology.

Historic Bicycle Rides: Witness demonstrations of historic bicycles, providing a fascinating glimpse into the past and the development of cycling over the decades.

Exhibits: Engage with exhibits that delve into the history of cycling, including educational displays suitable for all ages.

Museum Attractions: Take the opportunity to explore Amberley Museum’s extensive exhibits, which cover the industrial heritage and crafts of the South East.

Set against the stunning backdrop of the South Downs, Amberley Museum’s Retro Wheels event promises a day of nostalgia, education, and fun. It’s a perfect outing for anyone who loves the freedom and history of cycling.

Museum General Admission.

Train and bus rides are included for no extra cost.

Pre-booking is recommended to avoid disappointment as tickets (including Member tickets) often sell out on these busy days.

Extra Information

Amberley Museum is located in the heart of the South Downs National Park. Often referred to as multiple museums in one, the Museum has over 20 exhibition areas.

The Limeburners Cafe will be open for lunches and snacks, ice creams and hot drinks are also available. There are also outdoor picnic areas.

Well behaved dogs on short leads are welcome.
